A Boy and His Dog...

...have taken up residence in my studio; at least for now. The sofa has become a bed, the sewing room television has become his sole source of entertainment, and let's face it-- the company is welcome in a creative space where this quiltmaker is sometimes found talking to herself! And so we wait... for the orthopedic surgeon to pin a red-headed "Humpty Dumpty" back together again. Life will soon enough get back to a normal routine, but for now; this is the view from behind my Bernina. Postings on Kyle's surgery and progress will appear here in the next few days. Thanks for checking in, we appreciate your phone calls and even more your continued prayers.
Life is Good!

What would the world be without moms???

Glad you're in good hands, Cuz. We know one thing for sure: you don't have to be worried about being too cold at night...

Oh my goodness!!! I'm so sorry to hear about Kyle's accident. Brad sent me something Kyle had written about it, and we agreed, this is a certainly a set-back for someone so young and energetic. But, whenever something bad happens, I believe that something good comes out of it. God makes it happen that way. Let's see....Kyle can catch up on correspondence, watch a lot of TV, enjoy his Mom's great cooking, have plenty of time to devote to Diesel, spend quality time with his Mom, and he'll have time to heal and reflect (perhaps on the use of ropes and harness...just kidding, well, sort of!). Thank goodness he has you so close by! I'll be saying prayers for quick healing, and patience (for you both!).
