Happy Thanksgiving!

Thanks much for your support and prayers, they are deeply appreciated; Mom's going home in time for turkey and all the trimmings! This photo was in our church directory a year ago, you should all see the lovely lady you've been praying for (as well as our son Kyle, who posted for me) while we waited with Mom at the hospital. As you can see, she's a very large part of our lives. She had a cardiac catheterization yesterday and the arteries looked good. She's got her heart rate stabilized through medication and her blood pressure is down, at long last. She's going home for Thanksgiving. Extended family has all assembled from points north and mid-west; turkey day is looming and Mrs. Goodneedle is cooking... I grocery shopped today; I'll pick up Tom turkey in the morning, he's waiting for me at the butcher's counter! My dear friend, Quiltkeemosabe, made cranberry sauce and brought us a dish, she's the best! It looks like we'll have ten around our dining table for dinner on Thursday; hallelujah!

I desperately needed some sewing therapy today. Luckily, block-of-the-month began this morning! I haven't actually fired up the machine since Mom got sick but just being around fabric in the shop today was enough to make my spirits soar and my heart sing (it must be those pheromones).
We have so much to be thankful for.
Life is Good!
