Puzzled

We're eating at the kitchen table again. The puzzle is complete, almost! If you look closely at this picture you can see one missing piece. We've searched everywhere... on the floor, in the floor vents, under the table and buffet. I went through the trash; carefully making my way through Thursday's potato peelings and turkey bones, no luck. There are a few pranksters in our family and I fully expected one of them to stroll up to the table and sneak the missing piece into position... that didn't happen. Now all eyes have turned to our night-prowling resident, the one who unfailingly brings me small "surprises" to discover in the morning... could she have hidden the puzzle piece?

After puzzle-solving at my sister's last summer, I found 2 pieces in my sweatshirt pocket. I guess I swept them off the table or something! (I hate to think I absentmindedly put them in my pocket!) So...look in cuffs and pockets before you do the laundry.

Maybe the 'prankster' will come clean yet . . . you never know *s*

*LOL* your post is too funny. Love the pic of the "suspect". Of course, that is the guilty party. We have one in our house also! Be sure to look under the sofa or the dryer as that is where our missing puzzle pieces usually end up.

That could be my house! My husband works so hard on the Christmas puzzle, only to have the darling grandson walk up with the last piece!

Hope it turns up. It's frustrating to not have that one last piece.

LOL! Bodacious will from time to time, go up on the windowsill where my Noah's Arks reside, and grab a tiny zebra and relocate it under the dining room table!

Surely those little puttypaws are innocent.

Oh yeah -- the cat is a likely culprit. You do know you will find it in about six months in a totally unlikely place :0).

LOL - while reading I was thinking, "Check the cat" -- my furry troublemaker likes to bat things waaaaayyy back under a couch or table!

Maybe it is in a shoe or boot! 2 years ago Little Boy took my credit card/wallet - right before a trip - and tucked them away into one of my winter boots. Talk about a BIG search!!! I hope you find your missing puzzle piece.

Cheers!

My kitties always batted things under the stove or the refrigerator. Yep, 2 easily moved items all right.

Ask Hannes, I bet he would "tell on"" the cat. Do you think that may have been a GOOD snack? HUM........

ciao,
3 could be the solutions
1st: maybe there was a missing piece in the box;
2nd: maybe someone took it and will give it back to you at Christmas
3rd: you can look for it under the forniture, maybe it's fallen down.
ciao, ciao

Puzzle pieces make great hockey pucks for cats...you may want to check under the refrigerator!

"That's right blame it on the cat!" Scrooter sends his regards to Turbo. We get NO respect!
