Hey, Guys...

... I need your help!

Mom's spending way too much time with Sundance II and not enough with me; yeah, it's true, I'm the jealous type. My ears need some scratchin' and my tummy needs a little rubbin'...

Think this will work? I'm plantin' myself right here. She can't get to the machine without gettin' past me! It's a sit-in.

Gosh, if things got any more "neglectful" around here I'd start missin' meals. What else is left for a guy to do? I'm takin' matters into my own paws, I have to, for my canine comrades everywhere; desperate times demand desperate measures.

I hope this works...
(If you have any better ideas let me know... I'll be right here...)

Hannes, hold your ground and don't move...you were there first, right?

aww, poor baby! I feel your pain. My mom's been rug hooking a lot lately which means the stupid rug frame is on MY ottoman. I have to lay on the floor! I find that a paw on Mom's knee, a sad look and a little whimper makes her pick me up and hug me... for a little bit anyway. Give that a try.

Your friend, Shelby

Hold your ground and be sure to use lots of big puppy-dog eyes . . . it always works around here.

It looks like that quilt is right at nose height. Why not try playing tug-o-war with it while mom is quilting? I have a sneaking suspicion that might get her attention very quickly! :)

I think you should learn how to help Hannes. Have you figured out where the off switch is yet?

Hannes ... you can come and play with my little doxies ... they get so many belly rubs, that mom rarely get any quilting done!

I feel your pain Hannes - I get neglected by my Mom too when she gets involved with 'Tillie' her new longarm. Love your stool idea - I'll have to give that a try.

Woof, woof,
Ben

Hannes, you are sweeter than any quilt could ever be. No worries, my friend. But...how on earth did you ever get up on that tall chair????

Aww Hannes, that is a shame! If I was there I would tickly your tummy, & rub your ears.
Leo has become an expert at the little whimper at my feet. How did he get so cunning??
