Switcheroo

Sundance is leaving, her stay has been a short one. She's being replaced, by Sundance 2! The switcheroo will happen this next week. In the meantime, I'll continue to practice away without the stitch regulator feature. Lengthy phone conversations with the engineers at APQS concluded that a replacement machine was the very best, and only, solution. I confess to feeling a little bit sad, boxing up my baby, she's bound to feel rejected. Of course, I'm thrilled to know that customer service is of prime importance back at the factory but the long and happy relationship I mentioned yesterday is about to be severed. Breaking up is hard; luckily, we have the weekend to prepare ourselves. This is one of those blind curves along the path that I didn't see coming.

Sad...but definitely the best decision after making such an investment. With today's equipment relying so heavily on computer chips etc sometimes an overhaul is the only way to correct problems. At least you will be ready to go when Sundance 2 arrives....hope it doesn't take too long.

Sorry to read Sundance is on its trip back to the factory. However, Sundance II will become a fast friend when she(he) arrives. The change is easier now than later.

An opportunity to practice patience. *heavy sigh*

I really needed that #4 today, too! Thank you.

Youll know what to expect and what to do when Sundance 2 gallops into your sewing room for action, cant wait to read on your blogs when this arrives and what exciting projects you will be getting on with. I will keep checking and reading your blogs.

Better now than later I guess. Hopefully it won't take long to get you two dancing again.

I'm so curious to know what method you are sending Sundance. I've been considering sending my Millie in for a look-over now that she's been with me for over three years.
I hope your new baby arrives in a timely fashion and all concerns are put to rest.
