Two Fantastic Finds

...from my local Target store. I was shopping last week and ran across a few new household items that I couldn't resist trying out. I'm glad I did... they're both great. The "Smart Dry" hangers by Tide are sturdy, have a swivel hook, and certainly assist in drying "hangables" with hardly a wrinkle at all. I have had similar hangers for over thirty years that were just about falling apart from constant use and am now delighted to find a replacement item on the market that works just as well. They are sold in twin packs. The second thing I tried out was the Scotch Brite ceramic cook top cleaner, I had seen this advertised. It is sold as a handle with four cleaning pads in a "starter kit", refill pads are sold separately. The handle is easy and comfortable to hold (great ergonomics), the pads attach securely with a hook and loop material and easily detach so that you can poke them in tight places to clean around control knobs and the like. My smooth cook top wasn't too dirty, I put the barely-used pad back in the re-sealable tub to use again next time. I buffed the surface after scrubbing with a dry paper towel and the resulting shine was amazing. I assure you I'm not paid for endorsing products, just happy to share when something new comes along that makes life easier.

Life is Good!

Thanks for the tips. I don't have a Target near me but maybe they are listed on Target online. If not I know what I will be doing next time I get to a Target. I need the hangers as I air dry alot of my blouses.

My grandson should be here soon :). I enjoy all the pics you post of yours. I can't wait to be a granny. LOL. Karen

I have tried the stove top cleaner and after using, I just left on the holder. The next time I wanted to use it, I just dampened it with a little water and it did just fine. I really like this product too!

I will certainly look for the hangers next time I visit target, don't go there often, but do occasionaly, also if I cooked I would try the stove cleaners, maybe Thanksgiving or Christmas, cause thats the only time I cook and BOY, do I make a mess. I guess I forget how from one year to the next!!!!! I do, do mountains of laundry though and hang dry a lot of things, so the hangers will come in handy. Headed back home tomorrow ! Bobbin

I will have to tell my step mom about the cleaning pads. Their top is black and about impossible to keep clean.
