Wine And Song...

We were invited for an evening at a local winery, Shelton Vineyards, yesterday. It was a great place to visit, the winery is family owned and operated and that pride is reflected throughout. The activities included a tour of the facility, a wine tasting and a live concert by The Embers, a beach music band from the Capital City. The weather was perfect, the wine was delicious (a case just happened to follow us home in the trunk of our car) and the music was grand! What before-now-undiscovered adventures await, right there in your own "backyard"? Take a look...Life is Good!
Very good indeed!!

We haven't been to Shelton Vineyards and need to make the trip. Sitting there in a lawn chair listening to The Embers with a bottle of wine sounds like perfection to me!

What a wonderful event...looks like tons of fun. We went to a concert in the park tonight in our community. There was an Irish Band with Irish dancers at the intermission...fun!!

Looks like a delightful time! How often we forget about the local events, if only we would all seek the local happenings! What in the world, how could that wine follow home in your trunk ;>)? Enjoy even the simple events, they are there for the enjoyment!
