Adventures In Babysitting

Granny and Gramps did a little babysitting yesterday. Our daughter had a doctor's appointment and, naturally, we happened to be available for a house call to the Capital City! Mason was six weeks old yesterday, how time flies! He's almost smiling in response to smiles given, he's alert and aware of his surroundings. We got in as much cuddling and spoiling as we could in ten hours. It's always hard to leave, he's changing and getting bigger (and even more precious, if that's possible) by the minute.

You may have been told this before, but my, how he looks like his Gramps, at least from seeing both of their photos, that is what I see. Isn't granparenting just the best thing ever...told you so! ;D

What a beautiful baby. He will be smiling to requests by next week. I remember I was ready for that when my children did it. Now they are 15 and 7. When did that happen??
I enjoy your blog very much.
