Speed Limit, Age Limit

It's just a number, 55. Right? It became our national speed limit for the purpose of energy conservation from 1974 until it was repealed and turned back to the individual states for regulation in 1995. It's just a number.

It's also my age, as of today. No chance for repeal. I'll have to conserve my own energy from here on in. I can choose to call this my age limit, though. Not that I intend to STOP here, but I don't have to pay attention to ascending numbers; I can certainly do my own regulating when it comes to an age limit. Right? It's just a number after all.

Life is Good!
and like fine wine, getting better with age...
Cheers!

A very happy birthday to you! You sound just like my mother - except when she reached 50 she decided to subtract a year from her age. After all - it is just a number, and as long as one is fit and eats healthy and feels well, it's a number that means very little. Have a wonderful, special day!

Happy Belated Birthday to you!!!!!
I was surprised last year on my 55th b'day with a limo ride and a fabulous dinner at a restaurant on the water by my hubby and friends. It made my birthday totally painless. You're right - it is just a number. In my head I'm forever 25...then I look in the mirror! LOL!
I also agree we ARE getting better with age!

You are so funny! Happy Birthday! (You could have trimmed off 10 years from that number and none of us would have thought twice.) Certainly a lovely 55 year old!
