For The Love Of Reading

For the last few weeks, leading up to Christmas, my husband has been busy down in the woodworking shop. Our son-in-law is a reader, an English major in college, he has amassed a healthy book collection over the years. He needed a bookcase and Santa Clause needed some help! Now that his Dad had a bookcase, how better to foster the love of reading, and books, than to make Mason one of his own too? I think they like them, what do you think? The good news is, neither one of these "boys" will need help filling the shelves, reading is alive and well in their home. (Now, wouldn't one of those look wonderful here, stacked full of colorful, folded, quilts? I wonder if Santa's helper works off-season?)

Life is Good!

What lovely work your hubby does! Have you put your order in for yours? I agree that quilts would look beautiful in those cabinets. My DH is a woodworker too so I'll have to show the pics to him.

That Barrister's Bookcase is magnificent... with enough hints, I'm sure one filled with quilts will appear on your blog one day in the not terribly distant future... You and DH are so talented! (and that Mason is SUCH a cutie-pie)

Mr. G is a very talented woodworker! I can tell he puts his heart into his work. Those bookshelves would be beautiful no matter what was on them. I'm sure one for your quilts is next on his list!
