Sweet Treats And Other Surprises

My daughter and I constructed dozens and dozens of these "nugget boxes" the weekend before last. These boxes, pictured, are made from folded cardstock and are designed to hold three Hershey's nuggets, they're sleeved to match the outside of the box itself. They can be made in other sizes too, to hold any number of surprises. The instructions are found here. Aren't they the cutest little things ever? I found a cute little surprise myself, sitting under my Chrismon tree when I finished decorating it on Saturday, apparently canine embellishments such as this one aren't limited to quilt tops! Wishing you sweet and wonderful surprises of the season...

Oh my gosh, can Hannes get any cuter? I don't think its possible. Great little boxes for little hidden treats, too. Thanks for sharing both these wonderful holiday joys!

Hannes and Angel may be different species - but they definitely share the "under the tree" specialness!!

Moments like this more than make up for the extra traffic and stressed-out drivers! Hugs to Hannes from Angel ~

Your tree is beautiful. I used to crochet angels like that, but always as tree toppers. I never thought of hanging them on the tree - its just beautiful. I also had never seen candles hung on a tree like you have done.

I laughed when I read the post before this one about sitting outside. LOL..so funny.
