Where Will I Go?

My husband has decided that he will finish our attic space this winter, it will make the perfect TV room. Right now it's exactly as pictured, no heat, and that's a good thing; it's been my own little place to escape to when I have personal thermostat issues... a heavenly sanctuary! I'd better enjoy it while I can, he had the HVAC guy here a few days ago. Rats! I guess I can always flip through the pages of my favorite quilting magazine while sipping a cold beverage out on the patio come January! I suppose I should ask for a snow brush for the chairs from Santa.

My hubby shudders to think about that soon to be time for me. Already this year I have started to sleep with the window open in the winter. I just feel warm all the time.
:) Hang in there!!! hahahahaha

Just stepping outside around here (it was -0.2F early yesterday morning) does the trick for me. In the summer, I just go to the basement.

Sympathy, sympathy, sympathy! I actually bought one of those little personal fans and it helps -- but not as much as sitting outside in the snow! Maybe you can convince him to turn that into your quilting space, and he can have the current **heated** space for TV?

I am pleased to say I am done with that nonsense, but I haven't forgotten it. I think you're right - a snow brush is in order! I sympathize mightily with your plight. This too shall pass - "when" is the question!

At least you wont be bothered by the Squirrel. He was so well fed this fall (as I recall) on that patio. No need for him to show his bushy-tailed-rodent-type-critter self for now!

oh thank you for reminding me of that, Karen!

nah...just sit in the snow...it'll work faster that way...:-)

Can't wait to see your new space!

Misery loves company... I'd offer you our unheated attic but the commute would undo any potential benefit :-)

I always love the winter time with my own personal summer going on!!! That attic looks like the perfect place to cool off.

Well at least until May,you may be having your "personal summers" in the GARAGE! :cD

My basement is mighty chilly, other than the studio which has wood stove heat. You are welcome to come chill your self any time!

What a great room that will be when it is finished. Love to see it as it progresses.
