Mason The Magnificent Holds Court

Our grandson is visiting; and, as always, he has been completely captivating us all with his accomplishments. Never before has standing or rolling or even laughing brought more enjoyment or applause to the loyal subjects in this little Prince's court. You can see why I was determined to re-do the play quilt I posted about last week; he is pictured here checking out the finest details of construction and assessing the quality of the workmanship, I think it passed inspection! Hannes has appointed himself as the royal guard dog to the little Prince, positioning himself strategically to watch over that final bottle of the day. All is quiet this morning, here in the land of Mason the Magnificent; but soon he'll arise, much to our delight, and we get to do it all over again!
Life is Good!

The "redone" quilt looks wonderful. It looked wonderful before the redo, but now I know everyone is happy with it. And of course, Mason is wonderful!

I bet Mason likes the added texture of the button hole stitch on his new play quilt. Good Job!

HUGS!

I am positive there is NOTHING BETTER IN THE WORLD than grandchildren. As grandmothers, we are so fortunate. We have no rules...that's a known fact. We would never abuse this, as we want what is best for our treasures.

Enjoy Mason to the fullest. I know you will.

Hugs again!

Awwwwwwww! He IS magnificent!

(and I love how your button hole stitching gives the illusion that the sashing is woven...very clever!)

Mason is such a cutie! Is he crawling now? You are so lucky to be able to see him often. Or maybe he's lucky too!

Mason just gets cuter and cuter all the time! I completely understand your captivation with him. The "re-done" quilt passed inspection with flying colors, I do believe. Hannes is a very handsome guard dog, and Mason is very lucky to have his protection.
Wonderful photos!
