Final Four Day

Yep, today it's down to four. I've decided to commemorate today by whittling my "to do" list to the final four as well. Well maybe not the final four, but at least today's list will be comprised of four things to do.

1. Spread the pine needle bales around the Hosta beside the driveway and along the edge of the woods in back. I've been putting this off long enough. (Let's get that one out of the way so I can play in the studio the rest of the day!)

2. Finish two burp cloths for baby Nolan. The embroidery is done, I need to top-stitch the binding and ribbon.

3. Finish the quilting on "Bears at the Beach". That is definitely do-able, I'm down to the final third of the quilt and it's not very big. Stay tuned for a photo on this one.

4. Make the piping and binding for "Sunflower Love", my son and daughter-in-law's wedding quilt. (I'm just thinking that they need this before their first anniversary, right?)

How will you celebrate Final Four Day at your house? Unlike the inevitable outcome of the NCAA playoffs, my list of four things will all be winners upon completion.

My Final Four would have to be more of a weekend project, though I'll try for the day! Pot on the seedlings, get all the washinbg done, this is well in progress, pin on black & white quilt to frame, (done this morning) and quilt, get bindings sewn of 2 other quilts, its cut and ready! Good luck with the game plan :o)

You go girl!!!

Breaking it down into a managable list makes it all seem more focused and doable.

I want to sew today, but it's not going to happen. I'm a clutterer and I need to do some clutterbusting. I also want to wash up my new fabrics.

Tomorrow hubby golfs (weather permitting) so I think I'll hit my sewing heaven then.

Hugs

You are very organized. Today I just want to complete one of the two bathrooms we are working on and I will be one very happy girl! I think this is a realistic goal as long as I can keep hubby motivated. :-) Have a great day!

I love that you have whittled your "to do" list down to just FOUR. If only I could! I made a list the other day of my "really need to finish" projects, and came up with 8!
I'm not into the basketball thing, but I'll jump in with you - Go Spartans!!!!

Before my daughter leaves to go back to California I crocheted her friend a pink hat and have another one on the go, I repaired her jeans, I made her a new bag and I still have to make a small cocktail hat. I know that's more than four but I have far more to finish to list but those are the things just for her.

Well your Final Four sounds fantastic. I hope you'll consider sharing pics of the Hostas as the grow. I do soooo love them. I could plant my own of course but we thought Kale instead. d'oh!

My Final Four will be spent with Baskets then some stitching on HST's from House Divided and I think a little bit of effort on 1 of 2 secretive projects.

I'll daydream about someone else making dinner for me to round out the day. Hopefully I'll pull my head out of the clouds in time and call for delivery!

"Final Four Day"...hmmmmm just four?? First thing this morning I reported for the 4 hour POD training in our town (in case of a disaster wihtin the community), I am working on a needed draw string coin bag for the church Easter Service by the youth, the always needed to do laundry, and of most importance traveling to the HS musical that will bring entertainment for ending our day!

Loved your previous post about the dress code or lack of...pjs actually show up at the school, worn by students, and they are instructed to call home for a proper change of clothes...what in the world are parent thinking to allow their children to come to school in their PJs! Most times parents are annoyed with the school for making the students change, curious huh?

We will be in WS next week, check blog, maybe you can come by, maybe with Hubby and H.A. I would like that very much. My 4 things for today are done, eat, sleep, drink and read.....not necessarily in that order...LOL...Life on the road isn't always exciting....

I am still trying to use the frog philosophy you had a few posts back. I realized I couldn't always just eat the frog first. Sometimes I have to catch it first or it keeps jumping away!
