Stitchworks

It has been busy lately in and around the Strawberry Patch! A photo of some burp cloths made it's way around and the snowball effect began, Strawberry Patch Stitchworks was born. I've added an embroidered soccer towel to the line-up for those who've long outgrown burp cloths. I hosted a sew day yesterday to work on a super-secret project! I will post photos of that as soon as I'm able. Quiltkeemosabe and Quiltteacher spent the better part of the day here and we made great progress, it's an exciting project and just thinking about the reaction of the recipient is worth every minute. And sew it goes... if you don't hear from me as often, don't worry; you know exactly where I'll be!

You have been busy! Of course, anxious to see what you gals are up to also!

Also...you and your gals may want to check out this little art quilt show of Scott Murkin here in Asheboro at the Moring Arts Center on Sunset Avenue. It is all his art quilts with a potter (can't remember who)...but truly amazing though I don't care to make Art quilts they are still awesome to look at. Scott told me they are displayed until Apr 30th. There is also a new little quilt shop on same road called Quilters Coop, and Antique Mall.....a day out with your gal pals anyway.

Enjoy your Easter weekend!

Cute, Cute! What a great idea! When I saw the burpcloths the other day I thought I'd contact you about making some for our new grandbaby. Only problem, they've not decided on a name so I'll have to wait :( Do you have an Etsy site? Good Luck!

Am I too old for a burp cloth with polka dot ribbon work and a bow?

I love your embroidered burp cloths and towels. I am afraid to try to embroider towels because i think they will destroy the tension of me embroidery machine. Have you had any troubles after that?

Cannot wait to see your secret surprise!

What a sweet idea! They would be fun to use because they are pretty - my granddaughter would go through five a day.
