Plant For The Cure

A cooperative effort between Susan G. Komen and Lowes finds selected pink flowers in their garden shops right now to benefit breast cancer research. This is a definite win-win situation! 10% of the Plant For The Cure sales go directly to the Susan G. Komen Foundation. There are a few different varieties available; I saw Dahlias, Gerber Daisies and this incredible Geranium, "Strawberry Sizzle", the blossoms are absolutely HUGE! I brought the Geranium home with me on Friday evening. Look for pink pots with the distinctive pink ribbon logo and the words "Plant For The Cure" on the outside to participate in this worthwhile cause and brighten up your garden at the same time!

I have seen those, they are so pretty and of course you have to have one for the strawberry patch.

Go Postal had his pink ribbon tie on Sunday for our Cancer fundraiser (its the only way I would ever get him in pink) I love there are so many different things available to help out this great cause....even Northcot's Quilt for A Cure fabrics!
