Three Reasons

In case you need them, here are three reasons NOT to stay up late at night cleaning your house:
#1. A broken the blender jar, it's a brand new blender, too. Set it down, turned around, and crash.
#2. A broken coffee pot. Same scenario as #1, was moving it to clean under it, crash.
#3. A full-sized sponge, flushed down the toilet. Luckily, I was able to retrieve it.

Don't let this happen to you. Go to bed at a reasonable hour, even if you are having ten people in for dinner the next evening, they're family; they won't care if there's dust under your coffee maker.

Life is Good!

No way! I'd laugh at you because in some sick way this is funny but really, it's not funny at all. Sheesh! Go to bed. :)

A little dust never hurt anything!
To my way of thinking, dust is a protective covering......
Go to Bed....If they are noticing the dust, maybe they could HELP!

The revenge of the dust bunnies!!!! I can't believe it was the NEW blender!!! No more wonderful strawberry drinks??? OH, NO!!!! Not to mention no coffee in the morning! Life at Mrs. Goodneedle's is going to hit a new low!

Goodness! You know, if you let enough dust accumulate you can draw beautiful patterns in it with your finger...so really, dust is a fashionable accessory, right?

Enjoy your time with your family, and don't worry about the dust...just dim the lights!

I always suspected that cleaning was dangerous. Quilt instead!

Oh my....I know it was Friday and that's cleaning day but you have to stop before 6 PM or bad things will happen. That's the hour at which Fridays become "evening with your Honey" days. You don't want Fridays to become known as disaster days! I agree with Karendiane: this is kind of funny, but not really, and with Quilt Hollow: bad things come in threes so now you're safe!

Oh my, what an evening for you...this usually happens for me when, I try to do, too much to fast :<( !! I am guessing you will enjoy your dinner tonight, and laugh with your guests as you chat about the *what happened* last night! Have a wonderful dinner and enjoy your weekend!

I too turn into more of a clutz than usual when I get tired . . .

And I think if company is worried about dust under your coffee pot, they need a reality check (and dinner out from now on).

Take care!

I can so relate. This is my life. There are days we don't let me out of the closet to touch anything!

Ooooooo this is soooooo true!!! Those tough nights that I can't get one wink in....around 3:00 in the morning I'm cleaning.... and than by 7:00 in the morning I'm going out to buy the things I need replaced...lol..

Like my Grandma always said, "If it can't be cleaned during the day, God made the night so 'we women' could have more time to finish the job." ((SMILE))

OH my goodness...what a night. I have had times like that when it seemed everything I tried to pick up ended up on the floor. I think the worse recently was when I dumped an entire strawberry pie down the front of my refrigerator - what a mess!

Why is it we are compelled to give the appearance of 'dust-free bliss living' for family *s* Good thing the only damage was to 'stuff' and not you.

Oh my goodness! You WERE tired!
I am certainly going to follow your advice. These same reasons are why I don't cut fabric at night, I don't trust myself.

Oh my goodness, you had a few klutzy moments! Racing the sponge down the toilet was my favorite! LOL!
