Red Star At Night

This one is off the rails and ready for turning to finish up the borders. I'm not ashamed of my quilting anymore. That's not to say that it's the best, by any means, but the strict hour-a-day practice regimen has proved beneficial for both the quilter and the quilts. I've tried my hand at lots of varied techniques on this sampler quilt, it has proved to be a perfect canvas for just that... feathers, outline quilting, continuous curves, McTavishing and freehand (translation: wonky/naive) shapes and fills.

It is lovely, Mrs. G. I love the way McTavishing fills the space and adds a very special touch. Your feathers are looking great. I never did feel good with my feathers.

Oh Debbie this is just spectacular. I always knew you would be gifted, talented and skilled with Sundance. I always knew that you'd create works of true art. I think we all did. It's just the sort of person you are. No cosmic-trippy needed on that observation.

So we knew but to actually SEE the workmanship, the creativity come to life is just terrific. I'm so excited to have seen this post today. How fun! How very fun!!!

Very nice, get confident! Your practicing is time well invested, I just started to machine quilt and I decided the only way is to jump in with both feet!!

I really DON'T like you anymore! Look at your lovely feathers. Mine look, well, they don't look like feathers. In fact, I've convinced myself that I just don't LIKE feathers. (can you tell I'm pouting?)
