September 23, 1953

Dwight D. Eisenhower was President. A first class stamp cost 3 cents, a new car went for $1,850 and the gas to fill it was 29 cents a gallon. Pink Formica was appearing in all of the best-dressed kitchens. Everyone loved Lucy. TV Guide made it's debut; and so did I!

...this day, in history...
Life is Good!

Happy Day!! Hope it's wonderful. :-) My parents had pink kitchen cupboards when we moved to the house in Topsfield. Oh my. That was one of the first changes my Dad made to that house. I'm so glad that trend hasn't come around again.
