Park City!

All my worry about traveling on the snowy, icy streets to get to the airport for our week away wasn't worthy of worrying about after all... no, getting back home was! The snowfall at the end of last week in the south resulted in us staying an extra day in Salt Lake City; not our idea, but the airline's! Our flight home through Atlanta was canceled and we were rerouted through Detroit the following day. We had a great ski trip. We skied for five days at Park City, The Canyons and Deer Valley with a "breather" day on Wednesday for shopping, lunch and exploring in town. We saw some amazing mountain-top views and got plenty of fresh air and exercise, too. There was abundant snow in Utah; thankfully (it's not all in the south or DC). But, once we were all packed up and ready to come home, it was frustrating not being able to travel. I don't know who was happier to finally sleep in our own beds again, us or Hannes! Truly, there's no place like home.

Life is Good!

Too bad you couldn't click the heels of your ruby slippers and instantly be home. Welcome back. Glad you had fun.
