How Hot Is It?

Really hot! We've broken 90 degrees for the last three days straight. I've moved my flower pots off the patio and under the shade trees to give the plants some needed relief. This heat wave just happens to coincide with an extremely hectic time here in the studio. I have a few quilts to finish and a pile of embroidery waiting too, how can one person ever be grateful enough for air conditioning? Mason was here for the weekend and that kept Nana and Papa hopping, he is very busy and active... all the time! I haven't had a chance to turn my attention back to my smocking but I hope to... soon! In the meantime, I'm making time for what needs to be done; and sipping strawberry lemonade!

Wow do you really garnish your lemonade that way???? I would love a glass about now but will settle for my daily dose of McDonald's sweet tea.

That looks so delicious! It's hot here too! And I've been picking strawberries every other day for the last 2 weeks!

Strawberry lemonade - I confess I've never had it. But it sounds so wonderful! It's blazing hot here too and the humidity is awful. I'm watching my two plants I brought with me very closely. I hope my children are watching those at home just as closely. :) blessings, marlene

Lovely glass of people coolant there! Glad to hear you are keeping busy indoors with all that heat. I can only imagine having to use AC all the time. We are spoiled here on the coast.
