Rear Air Bags

I stopped at the fabric store to buy batting for our Quilt Ministry yesterday. It was on sale, by the yard, so I bought a whole roll. It seemed like good stewardship, at the time. After the clerk retrieved it from the stock room and I realized it was a 60 yard roll (I expected it to be half this big) I began to seriously wonder if I could fit it into my car. The bad news (for large purchases) is that I have a small car; the good news is that it's a convertible! I was able to wrestle it in... and get the top back up.This exercise was pure entertainment for a little old man parked nearby who gave me a thumbs-up and a big smile after I was done, glad he enjoyed the show. Luckily, it's short drive from there to church; (and that there are side mirrors) it was a bit tough to see out the back window.

Too funny!!

Remember that big roll I gave you? That's exactly how I felt trying to cram it into my van! At least I didn't have an audience. :)

Looks like you're well stocked for lots of creative fun!

Funny! I remember once buying a whole lotta baby items like a stroller, bouncer chair, etc and then getting them outside in their huge boxes to our mid size sedan and just laughing. We had to take everything out of the boxes and leave the boxes in the parking lot!

LOL Oh Mrs G! I have soooooooo been there! Imagine the look on the Customs Officers faces as I drive from the UK to the Netherlands with a 60yd roll in the back of my little hatchback! And on sale, well, that really does make life good!

Too funny....reminds me of our poor mail lady delivering a roll to me awhile back. What kind of batting is this one?

Great pictures!!! My friend bought a roll like that (had it delivered to her house) and the only place it could fit was in the upstairs hallway. Her family couldn't use their upstairs bathroom for months!
