Putting Up Vegetables

I've been putting up vegetables and quilting the canning jars too... no, not the glass variety; that would be tough on the machine needle. I'm quilting fabric canning jars... yep, it's canning time at Chez Goodneedle and I haven't messed up the kitchen at all. Sundance and I are having sew much fun!
So, how do they quilt those glass jars after all?
Very slowly, I would guess, and with the use of eye protection! ;)

Now THAT's my kind of canning! :-D (Other than when we'd pick blackberries as a child, and seeing my stained mouth my mother would ask, "Canned them already, have you!?" :-D) What swirly concoction lies in those fabric jars? It's going to be a lovely pantry! :-D
Blessings,
Mary Lou

Probably cheaper than glass jars. Has anyone priced them lately?
Rather can your way.
