Like Daddy, Like Son

Some of you who read my blog have known me for a long time; so long, in fact, that you will remember when this baby, pictured, might have been our son and not our grandson! My daughter-in-law sent me this photo of Gregory earlier today, it took me by surprise for a split-second, it is just like looking at Kyle... 30 years ago! Kyle had a pair of these classic OshKosh overalls; in fact, he had a pair in every size as he grew. I'll have to see to it that Gregory's closet is kept stocked with them too; if he's anything like his father, and something tells me he will be, these overalls were the only piece of clothing he outgrew and didn't out-wear! Brad Paisley has a song out, "Anything Like Me" which brings both a lump to my throat and a smile to my face every time I hear it. I'll bet that song stirs the same reaction in my son.

...Yep, there's no denying it; "like daddy, like son"...
Life is Good!

These are classic! All little boys (and girls) should have some in their closet.

It's good to know that classic kid clothing is still around. The Princess wore a LOT of Osh Kosh. She was tall and thin - so they were an easy fit and oh, so cute!

Gregory looks so much like Kyle did back then! :-) Doesn't it just make your heart melt when you see the resemblance? It's like we get to see our babies again in the faces of their own children, but this time, we have the joy of watching our kids as parents. Wonderful!! :-)

My boy wore those overalls too. His were always the striped engineer ones. Gregory is a cutie.

Hi Debbie,
Even my little Canadian boy wore Osh Kosh for many years- He was a tall boy and it helped keep his back warm.

I have loved seeing the photos of the babies and Mason. It is so obvious that they are well loved and treasured children. What more can one wish for?
Have a fabulous festive season with your little ones.
Regards,
Anna

Our son also looked amazingly like his daddy when he was an infant and toddler. He still favors Daddy but there's a good balance of me in there too :) Nick wore lots and lots of overalls--my favorite were a pair of red corduroy ones.
