Bow Tie Beauty!

This quilt was made by my mother last year, parts of it are pieced by...drumroll... hand! When's the last time you heard that? Sundance and I quilted it for her and it is going in the mail and off to her today. She'll bind it and be snuggling under it soon, I'm sure it will be a happy reunion.

There is still some snuggle weather left before Spring I am sure. I like it!

It's lovely. Hurrah for Mom! I've actually been doing quite a bit of hand piecing and find it quite relaxing -- especially for those apple cores that are a bear on the machine.

Its a beautiful quilt and all the more so as it was touched by your mother's hands. I treasure all the quilts I have that my mom made and sometimes I just like to run my hands over them since she is not here anymore...almost like touching her hand again.
