Aruba!

We took time off (from sunning, reading and eating!) to disembark whenever we had the opportunity. This is Aruba, our first port. You can tell it's early on in our adventure by the relative paleness of my skin, particularly those ghost-white legs! Aruba is warm and wonderful. It just felt good to get out and exercise with a brisk walk along the coastline there before climbing back aboard ship... however, it's the prehistoric looking Iguanas, lazily sunning themselves on the stones, that I will long remember from this picturesque place that is dubbed "One Happy Island".

Nice little purse! :-) Bet no one even noticed your white legs. ;-) I came home with "sock tan" from playing five days of golf. My feet are white as white can be so I'm glad it's not sandal weather here yet.

Oh, what I wouldn't give for some sunshine right now-- we have had nothing but rain & wind storms the last couple weeks.....sun & ocean, I'm SO jealous!

the last iguana i saw was in a pot without its skin, on anthony bourdain's show, this one is much more palatable...looks like a great trip!
