It Takes A Clever Person...

...to sprain their foot in Smocking Class! Yep, I'm clever that way. It's a mild sprain and I'm getting along just fine today. The moral of this story: DON'T stand up and take a step if there's any chance that your foot is asleep! It doesn't end well.

Life is Good!

Oh bummer; hate to hear this, Mrs. G! (I did the very same thing after I first began teaching, hobbled about on crutches!) Take good care! Do we need to talk....?

So sorry to hear of your mishap! Guess we all should remember this and shake out before actually walking. Heal fast, my friend!

LOL! You have the coolest pictures, though! I'm so clumsy, I wouldn't even have to have a sleepy foot! Hope you are feeling better and that it wasn't your foot pedal/run-n-gunnin' (i.e. right) foot!!
Blessings!
Mary Lou

Is that an actual picture of your foot???? If so, it doesn't look all that "minor" to me!

I am in danger of doing this daily because Japanese insist that we all sit on the floor and converse for hours. It is always difficult to get up gracefully and move forward without falling over or crashing into something. Take care of your foot!

Ouch......rest up and let it heal completely so you don't make it worse. Hey at least your toenails are done and you have pretty feet!

Get some hand sewing done,
happy sewing

Wow, this makes the third foot incident in your family... first your lovely daughter, then her hubby, and now you. Maybe there is something to that saying that everything happens in 3s. Healing mercies!

Oh Mrs G! Now you just keep that foot up and rest it, at least you will be able to sit an smock in the mean time :)

oh dear - so sorry to hear of your ouchie!!! and in a smocking class of all places?? lol

my poor daddy has had "sleeping feet" for 24/7 for over a year now... and all the doctors can tell him is that it's a side effect from his chemo he did... he is not able to walk much at all b/c he's so unsure of each and every step and it's painful all the time. :(

you gonna show us your colors soon? purple, blue green gold??? who knows, perhaps the color combos could inspire a new quilt project???

Love from Texas! ~bonnie
