Weekend Wrap-up

I trust everyone had a wonderful Labor Day weekend, the fruits of my "labor" are abundant! The quilting on yet another table topper is completed, it awaits binding. Quiltkeemosabe and I are shop-hopping on Thursday, hopefully I can find something left of this "Figgy Pudding" line in one of eight quilt shops, at least enough to bind with, I didn't have even a sliver left over. Lucy Ann's Love Bugs is loaded now and Sundance and I have been racking up the hours quilting pretty shapes on that one. A galaxy of red and white stars are piling up on the cutting table; one (set) a day, it's easy, like taking a vitamin! Oh, and I read, too. A short story by Steven King, Mile 81. Why? Because it was a mere $2.99 to download it to my Nook. Not a good enough reason, not at all. Definitely creepy. I'll stick to stitching, and happy endings.
And sew it goes...

Nice tabletopper--good luck on the fabric hunt. Eight shops, huh? Big Day!
Can't wait to see the LoveBugs all finished--such a cute quilt!
I can never read creepy. Doesn't bring joy to my life. Agatha Christie is as dark as I go, and by today's standards she is awfully tame!

Looks like you were productive! Maybe between all those shops you can find more Figgy Pudding...or we know Hancocks probably has some...they have EVERYTHING. That picture of Gregory is about he cutest thing, I could eat him up.

Love the precious gran babies on your left side bar :) What beautiful closeups!

talking about your Nook... have you bookmarked this webpage - http://the-cheap.net/ I've found many freebies to my liking there - lots of reading variety!

thanks for alerting me that my emails are bouncing - I thought I had gone in and updated on blogger... wonder why I'm still having problems? Will have to get my IT guy to take a look.... (hubby);)

Love from Indiana! ~bonnie

Quiltkeemosabe will be talking with you Thursday about ideas we had while doing a "Boone run" together today. It has to do with your productivity and our lack thereof.
