And A Good Time Was Had...

...by all!  Here we are toasting our 500th quilt! We began our church's Quilt Ministry in January of 2001.

We posed for our "formal" group shot; this, and the annual Quilter's Christmas Tea, has become a tradition.
One of my dear, dear friends (far left, behind me in the photo above) brought me this gift. It bears the embossing "PERFECT MASON"... she thought I could appreciate that ( I CAN!!). She filled it with her own classic thread spools from the 1940's. She was our children's 2-3 yr. old Sunday School teacher, as well as my husband's.
I treasure this gift; but, more than that, I cherish the giver.
Life is Good!

Wow-- that is impressive: 500 quilts!! Awesome!! Its great that you have such a faithful group. Your gift with the mason jar filled with antique thread spools is wonderful-- your friend is v. thoughtful. Enjoy and admire it! Glad that "Life is Good" and hope it continues to be through the holiday season and for 2012!
