Saving Up To Tell Time...

My husband and I went Christmas shopping on Wednesday, we planned this day trip weeks ahead, and had the BEST time. We drove to the Asheville, there was a fresh dusting of snow at the tippity top of the Blue Ridge Mountains, the sun was shining and it all combined to make one glorious day. While shopping I spied this clock, It's terrifically expensive. Sigh. I have just the spot for it in our kitchen, but I will need to start feeding the piggy bank to ever accomplish this purchase. It's large, 36" in diameter, (the clock, not the piggy) the time would be easily visible from anywhere within eyeshot. This is one of those items that, when you see it, you just KNOW it's meant to come and live with you... even if it's not for a long while. It's good to have a goal, the reward will serve to remind us that the best things are always worth the wait!

Life is Good!

I liked it before you said the size, and then it turned into a Wow object! Beautiful. Is it an original art piece?

The clock is great!! Maybe Mr. G. will read your blog and there'll be a 3 ft round package under the Christmas tree for you! I know he works magic sometimes. ;-)

Oh, I am hoping that it does not move to someone else's house before it can come live with the Goodneedle family . . . .

It does seem so you, Debbie. I can understand why you want it to come live in your kitchen. Beautiful clock!

I agree with Judy O.: this clock has Mrs. Goodneedle written all over it (well, maybe in invisible ink). Quite lovely.

WOW! That is beautiful. I can see why you have to stuff the piggy bank!

Gee, I hope the store had more than one, cuz I've waited on things before, only to find out when I go back for them....they are long gone, and never to be carried again! :o(

I'd get it now.....and reimburse the piggy later! lol

Debbie, is the clock pic you're show the one? You say in your post "While shopping I spied THIS CLOCK" with a link so I hit the link and it took me to NOT CLOCKS. Just want to be sure I'm sharing in the goal for the right clock.
