No Worries...

“Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing?" Matthew- 6:25

I live in a world surrounded by temptation. I shouldn't worry about food or clothing... it's right there, in the book of Matthew. And then, wouldn't you know it, Zaxby's goes and brings back FRIED PICKLES (tasty!) and Life Is Good has added a strawberry T to their Spring line up (cute!). "Be strong" I tell myself, "go back into the closet and close the door, tight!" The clean-up and organization continues, behind a barricade!
Life is Good!

OK, you can resist the pickles, but you've GOT to get that t-shirt!

Sometimes you have to allow yourself one special thing so you don't go nuts one day & get everything... that t-shirt is your one special thing I think!

The t-shirt is your "carrot" at the finish line of the closet cleaning project . . . (but only if another, older shirt vacates the premises)

Hugs!

In these here parts, we celebrate folks coming OUT of the closet and here you are, repeatedly going back in . . . .

I think you would be able to work harder wearing that t-shirt. : )
The only place I have tasted fried pickles is at Texas Roadhouse. They were so salty I couldn't eat them, and this coming from a person who used to salt ice cubes and suck on them. I hope these are not so inclined.

I can resist fried pickles but now that tee...I have made a bargain with myself that if I bring in a shirt, a shirt has to go out. If I bring in a pair of slacks, a pair of slacks has to go out. So far it's keeping me from any splurge purchases. :) blessings, marlene
