1. The speed-dial setting on my cell phone is not a two button function. What I used to do was press the appropriate number button for that particular contact and then hit "send". That is, until Gregory handed me my phone with a panicked look on his face... Quiltkeemosabe was on the other end! Now I know that if you press the appropriate number button for that particular contact and keep it pressed down it dials the number too! Ha!! Clever. Thanks, Gregory!

*LOL* My cell phone lesson from my grandson is that when you remove the sim card from your recently replaced phone and let your grandson play with it, he can still dial 911!

I cannot begin to count the number of mystery phone calls I've received from my grand kids. MOst of the time they would dial, then just put the phone down, so all I'd hear would be legthy stretches of kid noises in the background. And no, I didn't erase them -- I'd save themn and just listen when I wanted a grandbaby fix.
A couple of weeks ago my husbands phone was closed, in it's case on his belt and he was in class talking to an intern teacher. His phone called 911 seven times. Seven. They left him a cheerful message and told him they knew he was okay since they could hear his conversation. That speed dial feature can be dangerous. :) blessings, marlene

Although I enjoyed my phone call from Gregory, the comments about calling 911 unintentionally made me remember that on my phone #1 was already programmed in for 911. I'm glad it is, and it's comforting to know I can just mash it if I need help, but Gregory may call it by mistake!

I don't know how I could take my grandson shopping without my iphone. He loves to play the special game apps that I've got on there for him. But recently I've added a security code which at first really frustrated him(ok, made him mad!) but now he knows he has to ask Grammy nicely ("pone, pease?") and then I'll open it for him. I'm dreading the day he figures out my security code!
All this at 15 months.....wow! Just think what he will be doing at 15 years!
