In Jesus' Name

"Operation Overboard" is the theme of Vacation Bible School at Mason's church this week. He has a CD of the songs that they are learning and sings along in the car every day. He asked our daughter earlier this week what Jesus' new name is going to be.  She was puzzled by the question, but didn't give it much thought as he quickly moved on to another subject. We both understood what he had asked, and been confused about, the next day in the car.  One of the songs they are learning is called "Claim The Name"; the lyrics include this line, the refrain: "I'm going to claim the name of Jesus, I'm going to claim the name..."  Mason heard it differently; he heard "I'm going to change the name of Jesus, I'm going to change the name..."

Life is Good!
...in His name, which remains unchanged...

Sounds like Mason is having great fun. I love it when they get words mixed up in songs and only wish I had written all those down that my children got confused ;) My grandson in South Africa is had his Bible Club this week too!

My grandchildren had that same theme for their Bible school in June...my DIL taught and I watched the littlest one. The 2 big kids loved it. They were sad when the week was over. What an awesome program. Love Mason's take on the song...you're so right...Life is soooooooooo good!
