Furry Fellow Update

Hannes seems to be doing much better, it's hard to keep him still nowadays... a good thing (good for him, difficult for us)! We'll learn the results from three weeks of non-activity on December 26th; an exam at that time will include an X-ray to look at the area where the prolapsed disc in his neck was located and, hopefully, an observation that nothing but healing has taken place! As you can see, Hannes has received the royal treatment since his diagnosis; a customized table for his bowls has been lovingly constructed from solid cherry by Mr. Goodneedle, he need not bend his neck to eat now. His collar has been replaced by a harness for his leashed, outdoor, breaks. Hannes' Christmas placemat lends a festive touch, he's finally feeling ready to celebrate!

Life is Good!

I cannot imagine non-activity with my doxies so I know that was not easy. I hope your best Christmas gift will be a good check-up. He is beautiful, by the way.

Wishing you only good news on the 26th. I did not show this to Arlo because he would be very jealous of that solid Cheryl table--his is only plastic.

Awe, here's to good news, and that table is good for your back too, you don't have to bend quite so far - all round win win situation! (keeping fingers crossed)

Hope you all get a good report on the 26th.

Glad to see Hannes looking so well and Christmasy! Your husband's dish rack is beautiful! I'll have to show my husband, the wonky carpenter.
