It's The Little Things...

Way back when I participated in a paper-pieced, miniature block (4") swap; there were five us in the group. I pulled this out of the closet the other day, I found sixteen of the twenty four blocks pieced and discovered yesterday, or re-discovered actually, how much fun they are to work on! I won't be putting this project back away, I'll leave it out where I can see it and piece up each little block, in small snatches of time, until they're all done. Oh, and if you're wondering how long ago way back when might be... one of the blocks has my signature and it's dated: February 28, 1995!
Life is Good!

I guess that's what great about traditional colors/patterns and fabrics is they never go out of style. Some of the bright trendy stuff catches my eye now but will I still love it in twenty years?

well you don't have many more to make. I look forward to seeing it finished.

What a sweet little project! I used to abhor foundation piecing, after my first couple of miserable attempts, but now I would agree that it is kind of fun (until the paper removal).
Won't it feel good to get this almost two decades old quilt finished? Can't wait to see it. : )

You ARE on a mission, aren't you!

Sweet little blocks . . . one stitch at a time.

Good that you found it, 4' is so cute, but can't see me doing them anytime soon. Hope my eyes hold out until I am retired!
