Let's Boogie!

Now you see a spikey feather... now you don't!  I found the coolest upgrade from a dry-erase board for training my brain to execute free motion quilting designs, it's called a Boogie Board; I love it! This is a super thin LCD writing tablet which has the outward appearance of an old-fashioned blackboard. The similarity ends there. A stylus comes with the board (and a clip to hold the two items securely  together), it marks as easily and smoothly as writing on glass. Drawings erase cleanly and instantly with the press of a button; no ghost marks remain and no cloths needed like on a dry-erase, and not one trace of chalkdust like from a blackboard. I see lots of quilting design practice time in my future. I first saw one of these in a toy store, the greatest treasures always seem to be lurking there. Three years ago I posted here about a different toy-store find, the Etch-A-Sketch Freestyle, it is no longer made; apparently the obvious use for quilters wasn't made clear or it would still be selling like gangbusters! I was planning on putting  a Boogie Board on my Santa list, but I just couldn't wait (my inclusion on the "nice" list wasn't ever in question, not to worry!). This paperless notepad could easily become my latest addiction item. .. doodlers beware, this sweet little board is close to perfection! Now, let's boogie!

Oooooh, that looks like the bestest Christmas present ever! Ok, until the next techie gadget... :-) Very nice idea though. Wonder if Paul can get me one before he gets on a plane Sunday? Sure, there's plenty of time...lol

Wow, you find the coolest things!
This would be on my list if DH hadn't just agreed to get me a featherweight for Christmas so I no longer have to lug my heavy machine to classes.
I will just have to save my pennies and buy my own, but I will definitely be looking for this!
Boogie on!! : )
