Nothing Says Lovin'...

...like mittens from the oven! Lynnleigh wanted to share a little something special with her preschool class last week in honor of her upcoming birthday. Nana suggested some winter-themed cookies and you can guess who chose the color! I believe these mittens were a big hit; I know that the birthday girl was happy! This week the winter cookie theme continues...
We may not have all that much on the ground but we have a whole heap in the kitchen!  We were lucky to have the youngest grandchildren, our grand dog (and their Mommy and Daddy) come to spend a snow day here with us yesterday. They got the first tastes of these snowflake cookies as well as first tracks on our backyard hill!
Life is Good!
