Six Short Years

Six short years ago this little bundle of energy burst onto the scene. She has been charming all of us ever since. She is funny and imaginative, sweet, loving and she absolutely loves art work! Now, apparently, she is now making balloon animals (and numbers!); she keeps us on our toes. She mentioned to her Mommy the other day that she was hoping for Nana to make special cookies for her birthday party. My daughter in law told me that whatever I chose to make would be just fine. I decided on a winter theme and made a blizzard's worth of snowflakes. They went together fast; I got them baked, decorated and wrapped tout suite and then they were out of here; like a snow squall with no warning.

I delivered them yesterday, but Mommy held on to them to surprise the birthday girl this morning.
I believe they were a hit!
Happy birthday, Lynnleigh! You're growing up fast.
In the quick blink of eye to these grandparents.

She does appear to be a charmer.
And your cookie making skills are right up there with your quilting skills. Those are so cute!
