New Year, New Name

In early August I'll officially have a new name, you can call me "Granny Goodneedle"! 2008 is shaping up to be a big year for our family; Kyle's wedding in May, (add a wonderful daughter-in-law) and now... a grandbaby, too! Our daughter and son-in-law shared the tremendously good news with everyone this last evening.

Oh, yeah... it's time.
Time to shout it out loud, from the rooftops:

    Congrats!!! I just found out I am to be a Grandmother also. My daughter is expecting the end of Aug first part of Sept. I am excited but a bit apprehensive.

    Oh my gosh - you're on your way to heaven! Being a Gramma is the best best thing ever! Watching your baby with his baby will absolutely blow your mind - that's fun too. Congratulations!!!

    Oh, wouldn't you know we'd be grandmothers at the same time together???!!! So exciting! We have got to TALK!!! Congrats to M&M, and to Granny and Grampy too. I think I'm going to be Grammie....I can't be Grandma Ray...we already have one of those!

    Congratulations to the proud grandparents-to-be! I bet you've already started a new baby quilt even if your sewing room is still not back together! So has Mr. Goodneedle's target date for the completion of the renovation been moved up?

    CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!! Wonderful news, Grandparents have the best fun, Love them, spoil them (with love) but best of all is when they run through the door yelling your name (whatever they choose to call you). Seeing our children with their children is awesome, nothing compares... Congratulations to all of you, we can be expectant GP's at the same time, our GGson is due the 12th of July. I can't wait.

    Congratulations! and Congratulations to me too! My first grandchild will arrive the first of August also. My son and daughter-in-law will be wonderful parents. I just wish they could come up with another name other than Grandma, that makes me sound so old!

    I've already got one baby quilt top finished and plans for more.
