Monkeyin' Around...

... with these test stitch-outs. I am making a wallhanging for our grandson's nursery. Our daughter chose Baby Zoo Train embroidery motifs for the block centers, different animals in each train car, there will be sixteen blocks with navy blue sashing and a very narrow red piping for accent. I have chosen two different background fabrics for auditioning the monkey block. Which would you choose?

    Studies have shown that babies are drawn to patterns and they stimulate their minds, so I would go with the blue stripe.

    I like the blue stripe too....it reminds me of a circus. So cute!

    B&A&D are finally all in PA. I worked harder than I have in years helping them settle in. There was lots to do. We leave tomorrow for our week at Calumet. Can't wait for the peace, relaxation, reading, and sleep!

    My vote is the blue stripe- I think it is more interesting- It will be one cute baby quilt.
