For The Love Of Reading

For the last few weeks, leading up to Christmas, my husband has been busy down in the woodworking shop. Our son-in-law is a reader, an English major in college, he has amassed a healthy book collection over the years. He needed a bookcase and Santa Clause needed some help! Now that his Dad had a bookcase, how better to foster the love of reading, and books, than to make Mason one of his own too? I think they like them, what do you think? The good news is, neither one of these "boys" will need help filling the shelves, reading is alive and well in their home. (Now, wouldn't one of those look wonderful here, stacked full of colorful, folded, quilts? I wonder if Santa's helper works off-season?)

Life is Good!

  2. What lovely work your hubby does! Have you put your order in for yours? I agree that quilts would look beautiful in those cabinets. My DH is a woodworker too so I'll have to show the pics to him.
