the Strawberry Patch is a busy place these days. This one is on its way to Illinois and a very special little girl who lives there. The squiggle quilting in the periwinkle colored borders is stitched with NiteLite Extra Glow (in-the-dark) thread and a little shot of hot pink for a pizazz-y piped edge finish.
Life is Good!

ReplyDeleteLove the quilt, lucky little gal that will be receiving it...and the piping is very creative on it! I have used the *flange* idea (thanks to Mickey), but not the piping ... that might be next for me!

ReplyDeleteWhat a fun quilt! That little strip of piped edging makes such a finished look! How does that glow in the dark thread work? Is it just as easy to sew with as regular thread?
