Early Friday morning Mason called to sing Nana "Happy Birthday" (which he did, very well), when he had finished singing he was so excited to tell me that he was coming, to my house, and bringing an apple cake! My daughter got on the phone then and filled in the details: yes, they were coming and bringing a cake (as well as dinner). Oh, and by the way, it was supposed to be a surprise. As long as I live I won't ever forget the excitement in that little boy's voice... "we're coming to your house and we're bringing an apple cake"! I've never felt more loved; I've never been more thankful, my birthday was filled with all the blessings I could hold... in both of my arms!
It was a wonderful day, in every way!
Life is Good!
... and so was the cake...

Oh my gosh this is the cutest story; how sweet that little boy. And gosh but just feel the way the entire family expresses real, beautiful love. Life is Good!
