Where Are The Hummers?

If you haven't seen many Hummingbirds this summer I might know why;
they're all at my house!  I have gone from filling two of these feeders
once a week... to every three days (the last couple of weeks)... to every day!
All that humming makes a little bird hungry!
Life is Good!

  1. You lucky lady! I love humming birds but found problems when using feeders in Ca.-mainly wasps,bees and ants took over. After that, I just planted lots of flowers that I knew they could get nectar from. I haven't tried it here-don't know if the nectar would freeze in the winter or not.
    Enjoy those little beauties.

  4. The flower in your post for July 5 looks like a Martha Washington geranium: Loves the higher altitudes and little less heat.
