Now that my DH and I are getting into scripture, we have several different versions. I bought Mom a new giant print bible for Xmas this year and I hope to encourage her to actually read it. It really is fascinating, as well as "nourishing."Laurie Annhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12230672100645122747noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29952936.post-1165420638011992662006-12-06T10:57:00.000-05:002006-12-06T10:57:00.000-05:00I think a well-used Bible in someone's hands would...I think a well-used Bible in someone's hands would beat a pristine Bible sitting on a shelf anyday.Shelinahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09870112367076954109noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29952936.post-1165420174315857682006-12-06T10:49:00.000-05:002006-12-06T10:49:00.000-05:00I actually have several Bibles. It's white with a zipper all around, but it's the King James Version which we don't use much anymore. It has a lot of sentimental meaning for me.

I also have an NSR version which is the one I refer to and use most often. It's not quite as "loved" as yours but it is always close by.
