December Glimpses

Remember opening a window every day in December on those long-ago paper Advent calendars to glimpse something new each time, all to get ready for Christmas? This is my version: on the first day of December the Christmas dishes have appeared in the kitchen cupboard. Enjoy your preparations!

Happy Holidays to you and I think that is a perfect adaptation to an Advent Calendar. Our house was decorated before Thanksgiving-due to four granddaughters who love to put ornaments on a tree. I've got to get some charges out that I have~I love this season. I've been spending most of my free time in the sewing room-making table runners.
Sending you warm, winter hugs.

We use our Christmas plates year round because they are pretty!

Each year I look for a set of Christmas dishes AFTER the holidays. I've yet to find a set I want to bring home (seems only the broken or seriously ugly ones are still on the shelves at that point). One of these days . . . Hugs to all!

I have a complete set of the Christmas Naif dishes but have NEVER used them (it is just the two of us). Bought them almost 18 years ago! Our everyday dishes are Design Naif and we always get comments about how unique they are. They make me smile every time I use them!! Linda
