On Risk Taking...

I'm not a risk-taker, ordinarily. Do calculated risks count? I'm reminded of this quote:

Why not go out on a limb? Isn't that where the fruit is? ~Frank Scully

I do love apples...

  1. They do say, "Nothing ventured- Nothing gained"

But there is surely something equally opposite- "Fools rush in"??

  2. Oooh a mystery! I guess it depends on the type of risk. Calculated risks are good.

  3. I am not a risky person myself except in quilting! I try anything and everything!
I love apples, I attended an apple fair at the week-end with delicious old sorts. That is now when I will take risks, buying apple sorts I don´t know! Take care.

  6. Better safe than sorry..., but if it is something that you won't be sorry about even if it doesn't work out - well then - what do you have to loose? My Nana used to say "if you don't know what to do, don't do anything rash" - I think it was her way of saying to think on it.

    Cheers!
