This blog is interrupted, on hiatus, until mid-September. We're headed north, to Alaska. I will report back in a few weeks with my own version of Planes, Trains & Automobilesplusa ship!
How Exciting! One of my good friends just got back from a cruise to Alaska and loved it! And our son and family traveled there earlier this summer to visit some of his wife's family. All of them LOVED it! And all want to go back. We are not cruise people but Alaska is the one place I would go on a cruise. HAVE FUN!!
Oooh, how fun! I wish I could talk DH into a cruise to Alaska. I'm guessing that you will be leaving from here, in Seattle? If you get any time here in Seattle, be sure to visit Pike Place Market.
So happy for you and hubby! Can only imagine the quilting ideas that can come from this! (Care to borrow Michener's novel "Alaska" for the down moments?--ha!) Enjoy!
A chronicle of random musings celebrating daily life, faith, family, sewing and making quilts from my semi-rural North Carolina studio:
