To Your Health!

A news report on the radio yesterday touted the health benefits of drinking red wine. It seems there’s evidence supporting a direct correlation between reducing your chances of colon cancer and drinking three glasses a week. The research shows the anti-cancer properties of resveratrol (an ingredient in the skin of red-wine grapes) work on several different levels: minimizing the DNA mutations that lead to cancer, inducing cell death in cancer cells, and blocking the formation of new blood vessels that "feed" tumors.

I’ll drink to that, all in the name of good health of course!
