2. Are there value in your words?
3. Is it kind?
The advice contained in the ad, was, if you couldn't answer "yes" to all three questions then the topic should be forever forgotten.2. Are there value in your words?
3. Is it kind?

Wow, how right you are. The Rockwell illustration is great, too.
I love to listen to gossip, but don't pass it along to anyone else.
Gossip can cause so much grief.
It's value as entertainment is forgotten long before the hurt it can cause is forgotten.
I do love Norman Rockwell.....

Very sage advice!
I would not like to be the victim of gossip, but more than that, I would really dislike being the spreader of gossip. It is so destructive on so many levels. Audrey Hepburn once wrote a poem about her beauty tips. The first tip is, "For attractive lips, speak words of kindness." Words to live by.
I love Norman Rockwell too.
In the church they call it "sharing."
Makes me think of the little song, "Oh be careful little mouth way you say". :D
Very nicely put!!
Have a lovely day!
Mrs. G- I finally posted something new... ;) (Yes, this is an intentional "plug" for people to check out my blog!)
I love listening and reading gossips when I'm at the hairdresser.
Fantastic this advice. ciao ciao
Norman Rockwell is one of my favorites! I have all of his boys playing sports in my family room. Thanks for the thoughtful words...
i know how gossip can be so much damaging being an ex army wife and how people talk spread rumours and so on so I keep myself to myself.
If its nice, positive no malice to anyone or an idividual share it outx
